PTSD

PTS - Post-Traumatic Stress

Reduce symptoms and improve functions

Many Service members and First Responders place their lives on the line for the safety of our country. However, many who serve their country experience events that change them. No matter whether you are an Australian Defence Force Service Member, a Law Enforcement Officer, or a Medical First Responder, each experience you lived through can contribute to feelings of ill effects of traumatic events.

This can lead to isolation and an inability to connect intimately with family and friends. In certain cases, this can also lead to PTS, depression, and insomnia. For family members, it can be hard to realise that the person who returned home is not the same person they know and love. In these situations, NeuroOptimize can provide healing that assists the veteran in recovering and truly coming home if he/she wishes it.

Post-traumatic Stress (PTS) is often misunderstood by friends and family members who haven’t ever experienced it — and can feel extremely isolating.

Through the MeRT treatment, we stimulate the brain using magnetic stimulation.

In our clinic, we treat people for depression, which is often a symptom of people suffering from PTS, and our treatment has shown very effective results on people with PTS.

Results may vary based on individual users, and there are no guarantees given.

MeRT, is the abbreviation for Magnetic Resonance Therapy. It is a highly customised use of repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or rTMS, based on sophisticated diagnostics.

Like rTMS, the MeRT therapy is a non-invasive, painless, and drug-free option for the treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions.
